• Wesley Snipes, star of Jungle Fever and Demolition Man is trying to get out of jail so he can appeal to the Supreme Court. He is serving a sentence for tax evasion. His last Criminal Defense Attorney may not be representing him again.
• Ronnie, the muscle bound member of the the cast of Jersey Shore was indicted by a grand jury in Ocean County on an assault charge stemming from a fight that went down during season one of the show according to TMZ. Ronnie may need a Criminal Defense Attorney before it is all over, especially because he could not reach a plea agreement on the situation.
• Floyd Mayweather was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly assaulting a security guard. The champion boxer was at a casino on the strip when a security guard recognized him and called the Las Vegas police. If convicted, Mayweather faces a maximum of 6 months in jail.
• Shelley Malil, one of the actors in the 40 Year Old Virgin was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend 23 times in 2008. Although he had an experienced Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney working on his behalf, it wasn't enough to overcome the challenges all the evidence provided. He was convicted of attempting to murder Kendra Bebe who some how survived the attack. Malil will not be eligible for parole for 10 years.
