Los Angeles Federal Crime Attorneys and Big Boi

For anyone with a long enough memory, Big Boi was one of the most popular hip hop performers in recent memory. He teamed with Andre 3000 (a.k.a. Andre Benjamin) when the duo was known as Oukast and he had numerous hits both as a group and on his own. However, was arrested recently for drug possession, although the drugs he was found with would surprise even a Los Angeles Federal Crime Attorney. Officers did a typical pat down of Big Boi when he got off of a cruise ship in Miami, and found drugs on his person according to TMZ and the Miami-Dade police. Police said that both US Customs and Border Patrol searched the rapper after a dog sniffing dog reacted strongly to him. The pat down revealed 5.7 grams of MDMA in powder form, 3 pills of ecstacy, 9 pills of Viagra and 2 half pills of viagra. Additionally, a cigarette roller with suspected marijuana residue was also found on Big Boi. While drugs are often found on celebrities, finding Viagra pills is a more uncommon drug possession crime. Big Boi wound up being charged for three counts of possession of narcotics and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan Andre Patton, could face major felony charges for the drug possession crime. He will also need a los Angeles Federal Crime Attorney to represent him as he was arrested by federal officials.

Federal crimes carry severe consequences, and are less likely to treat celebrities with a soft hand as often happens in Los Angeles. The MDMA powder (also known as methylenedioxymethamphetamine) is actually powdered ecstacy, meaning that Big Boi had 5.7 grams of ecstacy powder and three ecstacy pills. This, plus the other narcotics, could lead to serious drug possession charges, which if convicted, could lead Big Boi to years in prison for these crimes.
