He then allegedly sprinted away from the police officers who caught up with him a short distance later. When the officer attempted to subdue Griffen, he allegedly grabbed that officer in the groin area and both officers had to use a Taser to subdue the defensive lineman. Griffen is fortunate because the officers declined to file felony charged against Griffen based on the absence of injury and the defendant's absence of criminal history.
